We offer 3 different part-day preschool programs. Morning classes (8:30-11:30) are available, as well as afternoon sessions (12:30-3:00), if enrollment requires it. The Curiosity Corner curriculum provides the foundation for the preschool program. Various resources and ideas are used to supplement Curiosity Corner and balance the curriculum. We incorporate engaging activities and fun into the daily routine. The classes are taught by licensed, experienced teachers.
Tuesday/Thursday Preschool Class 8:30-11:30 a.m.
This class allows young children a first school experience. Engaging activities are part of the daily routine which helps to develop school readiness skills, and promote positive social interactions. The program is very similar to the classes for older children, with the activities and goals adjusted to meet the developmental needs of younger learners. This class is limited to children with one more school year before kindergarten entry.
Monday/Wednesday/Friday Preschool Class 8:30-11:30 a.m.
This class provides children with the opportunity to develop kindergarten readiness skills with a traditional morning schedule. The class routine includes large group, small group, and individual learning opportunities. Crafts, songs, stories, and active play are daily methods of instruction, as well as guided play using an assortment of toys and games designed for young children.
Monday-Friday (5 days per week) Preschool Class 8:30-11:30 a.m.
This class provides children with the opportunity to develop kindergarten readiness skills with an everyday schedule. The daily routine includes large group, small group, and individual learning opportunities. Crafts, songs, stories, and active play are daily methods of instruction, as well as guided play using an assortment of toys and games designed for young children.
