Mrs. Talley
Mrs. Talley began the part-day preschool program at Kansas Kids after becoming the owner of the childcare facility about 20 years ago. The classroom has since been moved out of the childcare facility into a separate building giving more space and flexibility to the program.
Mrs. Talley has a degree in elementary education, as well as early childhood education. She has been a licensed teacher and early childhood center director for many years. She is devoted to promoting quality early childhood education in our area.
Ms. Sara
Sara Talley has been teaching since obtaining a degree in early childhood education about 10 years ago. She has since received Master's degree in early childhood education & program admistration as well.
In addition to teaching preschool, Ms. Sara works with school-age children during the summer and after school. Working with children having such a wide range of abilities allows Ms. Sara to work with each child according to his or her level of development.
Our Philosophy
We feel that a child's first school experience should be a positive one. We make sure to teach the essential skills and concepts necessary for kindergarten success, but our primary focus is to develop a love for learning. Our hope is for each child to hold on to the joy and excitement for learning throughout his or her educational career.
For us, teaching young children is more than just a job. We have dedicated our lives to becoming skilled, knowledgable teachers. We continue to seek out new ideas to add to or modify our teaching. We understand the importance of preschool, and make it our goal to provide the best experience possible for for each child in our program.
